Dimension Data Touts 20-Plus Percent Growth

Dimension Data saw 20-plus percent organic growth in the last fiscal year, and CEO Mark Slaga attributes that success to one thing: high standards in the client experience.

’It’s really about what we can bring to our clients. We’re big enough to do some amazing things for our clients, but small enough that we can deliver that personalized service to our clients,’ Slaga told CRN.

Slaga said Dimension Data is not just interested in meeting clients' expectations.

’For us, client satisfaction isn’t good enough. I can tell you, I don’t remember the last time my goal, when I went on a trip with my wife or family, [was] that I wanted to be satisfied. So it’s not good enough for us,’ he said.

The Dimension Data CEO also credited the company's recent acquisition of Nexus, as well as its partnership with Cisco, for its growth.

’Cisco is a great partner of ours, and to be part of the Intercloud and really be a part of that family is great, and it leverages the cloud platform that we already have in place across the world,’ Slaga said.

Moving forward, Dimension Data will set its sights on continuing ’heavy growth’ and extending hosting, data and cloud services to clients worldwide. Slaga expects similar growth in the next fiscal year.
