Reddo Mobility Channel Program Promises Big Margins

Reddo Mobility, the enterprise-focused startup that recently raised $4.25 million in its first funding round, debuted a partner program that promises impressive margins.
Reddo transforms Windows desktop applications into mobile-friendly applications. The technology utilizes virtualization so mobile device users can pinch and scroll with their fingers on smartphone and tablet-friendly interfaces, rather than squint at displays built for mice and keyboards.
’Many of the companies we’re talking to that have users in the field are remote, or users that carry around tablets and smartphones -- in some cases, users that carry three or four different devices,’ said Reddo Mobility CEO John Vigeant.
’Partners can expect a variety of benefits in working with us,’ Vigeant said of the new channel program. ’Certainly, margins up to 40 percent, but also some really nice services opportunities as companies embrace mobility and look to extend those existing applications to mobile.’
Chris Lynch, partner of the Venture Capital investment team calling themselves FKA (Formerly Known as Atlas Ventures), sang Reddo Mobility’s praises after investing in the company.
’Mobile is obviously one of the big megatrends -- with respect to 8 billion smartphones being deployed -- being able to take legacy applications and bring them seamlessly onto mobile platforms for the enterprise is attractive from a market perspective,’ Lynch said.
’Secondly, I really think the team is very compelling,’ he continued. ’John Vigeant and the team are really strong entrepreneurs."
