Ctera Aims To Convert Enterprise Windows Users

All-in-one solution provider Ctera saw enterprise business jump 240 percent over the past year, an increase that is largely due to end of life for Windows Server 2003.

Senior Vice President Jeff Denworth said end users are looking for different solutions, and Ctera’s broad portfolio offers everything from storage to data protection.

’They’re looking at ways that they can do things a little bit smarter going forward,’ Denworth said.

Ctera’s breadth of offerings makes the company a competitor to lots of traditional vendors, he said, with NetApp, HP and Symantec among them.

After ramping up its channel program with the new Cloud Accelerator Channel Program, Denworth said Ctera is actively recruiting solution providers, system integrators, and managed service providers interested in supplying the entire IT ecosystem.

’Every piece of business that gets delivered to our customers is through the channel,’ Denworth said. He said the Cloud Accelerator program is a ’manifestation of what we’ve been doing all along with some added services and capabilities that we’re building into our channel program going forward.’
