HP and Arista Networks will partner upin the open converged infrastructure space, and HP partners say it’s a direct shot at Cisco.

According to partners, Arista has a successful conversion rate over Cisco, and Cisco has filed two patent lawsuits against the company in the past over alleged copyrighted material.

Partners are calling the partnership a huge advantage for HP, and just this month Gartner named Arista as the fastest-growing vendor in data center networking.
