$3 Billion Partner Says HP Inc. Makes Computing 'Sexy Again'

HP Inc. has done its job to remove skepticism from many partners’ minds around how the company will operate separate from Hewlett Packard Enterprise. The company has gone to great lengths to communicate its strategy to partners.

Adam Shaffer, president of $3 billion longtime HP partner Systemax, said that at first he didn’t understand the move.

’I thought about it at the beginning -- why are they doing this? But after spending all this time with them, I get it. It’s the focus and the incremental help they’re going to give us to work with our SMB customer base,’ said Shaffer.

Shaffer praised HP Inc.’s efforts to bring ’very sexy’ products to commercial lines.

’There are definitely beautiful consumer products that have always come out of this company, but now [there is] that leap forward to making computing sexy again for executives and office workers,’ he said.

Shaffer also named HP Inc.’s printing game as a major strength for the company.

’HP being our largest partner, if they don’t grow, we don’t grow. So we need to grow with them,’ he said.
