New SimpliVity Partner Program Promises More Choices, Higher Margins

Data center specialist SimpliVity has revamped its channel program to offer partners more choices in software sales.

With the new program, partners can sell software on any vendor’s x86 server.

’The program’s objective is to simplify channels. We don’t need complexity in the channel. People want to make money. Reps want to make money, owners want to make money -- our program is set up so both of those make money,’ said George Hope, SimpliVity's vice president of global channel sales.

’We’ve been tripling our business, quarter over quarter, over the last few quarters,’ Hope said of the Cisco partnership.

That partnership was born out of demand from partners and customers, and now SimpliVity trumpets that its partners can have ’the best of both worlds.’

Through the new program, Hope also encouraged more resellers to consider transforming into service providers.

’Get engaged, don’t stand on the sidelines anymore,’ he said.
