Channel Beat: IBM Numbers Slip During Transition

IBM revenue was down 9 percent in the fourth quarter of 2015, and earnings per share dropped nearly 17 percent from the same quarter in 2014.

One bright spot was IBM's total cloud revenue, which leapt 43 percent in 2015 to $10.2 billion.

The numbers beat analyst expectations, but the question remains whether IBM can transform from a software business to one focused on cloud and security.

Citrix appointed a new CEO this week. Kirill Tatarinov will take the helm of the company next week.
