Solution Providers: What Customers Are Asking For Today

When it comes to driving customer demand, solution providers told CRNtv that cloud services still dominates the totem pole of needs.

’We’re seeing a lot of demand on the cloud solutions side. We have a lot of customers coming up for hardware refreshes where we’re introducing new Office 365 solutions and cloud virtualization, and really a lot of managed services as well,’ said TUC’s Marco Levecchia.

Kansas City-based Midwest Technology’s Brett Littrell agreed, but said with all the different options around cloud offerings, ’I’m not sure what the right direction to go in is.’

GO2’s Ethan Millrood said his customers just want one service provider to take care of their growing, various technology needs.

’For the most part what they’re really demanding is a single technology provider that can bring it all together because things have converged, whether it be voice, video or data solutions,’ he said.

And it’s no surprise, but solution providers also see growing interest in security protection services.

’Security is driving demand, I mean all the hacking and all the malware that’s coming out – they’re just looking for answers,’ said RX Technology’s Mark Rizzo.
