Zerto Will Launch Improved Partner Program In Q3

Boston-based backup and recovery services company Zerto will debut its Zerto Alliance 2.0 program in the third quarter, the company said at its ZertoCon event Tuesday.

Zerto has held off on disclosing details around the improved program, but President Paul Zeiter called the 2.0 version an ’evolution’ of the current program that will provide additional training and tools.

’We want to enable you to be consultative in your approach in solving customers’ pain points and customers’ problems. That’s what’s going to differentiate,’ he said.

The program will have three levels: Silver, Gold and Platinum. Right now, Zerto has about 1,300 channel partners worldwide.

’One of the reasons that we’re not announcing this in detail is that we thought that this was a great venue to actually get some last input from everybody in the partner community to see what we can do to further differentiate and drive more change in what we’re going to bring to market,’ Zeiter told attendees.

’We want to have a differentiated approach of how we go to market,’ he said.
