Autotask CEO On 'Enormous Opportunity' For MSPs, Global Climb In Management Software

Two years after IT investor Vista acquired Autotask, the company has seen robust growth and the introduction of a unified RMM and PSA platform. Autotask President and CEO Mark Cattini sat down with CRNtv to discuss the latest goings-on at the company.

Growth of the company has skyrocketed, thanks in part to two acquisitions in recent years.

’Over a six-year period, we will have seen a six-fold growth in Autotask as a company,’ Cattini said.

This spring, Autotask debuted a unified IT business management platform that combines PSA and RMM capabilities, which Cattini called ’ an enormous opportunity for MSPs.’

’Endpoint management and endpoint growth is really a substantial business opportunity for managed service providers, IT solution providers, our customers and partners,’ Cattini said.

The platform handles efficient ticketing, offers real-time asset synchronization, and offers insight from RMM analytics dashboards and integrated reporting.

Autotask has also increased its local, on-site presence with customers and partners through global office expansions from Boston to Beijing.

Cattini said all of the changes are in line with the company’s philosophy.

’Our product strategy’s really simple. It’s about delivering efficiency, accountability and deep insight into our customers’ businesses, and being innovative in how we do that,’ he said.

’Look to see some innovation pretty soon that we think will be great opportunities for our partners,’ Cattini added.
