Presidio explored an IPO once before in 2014, just before the company was acquired by Apollo.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise saw several executive departures this week, including its cloud and storage chiefs.

Senior Vice President and General Manager of Storage Manish Goel and Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cloud Business Bill Hilf are both leaving the company.

HPE's managing director of Americas sales will also leave by year end.

The changes come after the company decided to spin off its Enterprise Services business and merge it with CSC.

Solution provider CDW had a glowing second quarter, thanks largely to strong sales in the education and government sectors.

Second-quarter revenue was up 10.6 percent from the same quarter last year, and net income was up 8.6 percent from a year ago.

Earnings beat analysts' expectations, despite a 1.1 percent drop in sales among corporate customers from last year.
