HPE Meets Partners' Need With Aruba Integration For ProLiant Easy Connect Server

HPE’s ProLiant Easy Connect Managed Hybrid Server is now integrated with Aruba, much to partners’ delight.

Director of Worldwide SMB Server Marketing at HPE David Sung called the integration a ’no-brainer.’

’Aruba is part of HPE, they work with the same partners and sell to the same customers. Why don’t we work together?’ he told CRNtv.

HPE ProLiant Easy Connect has been in demand among partners and the SMB after decades of development, according to Sung.

’This is 50 years in the making, it’s here today, now, and it’s all about the SMB, it’s all about the partner,’ he said.

With the new integrated product, partners can now bring Easy Connect to customers with the cloud capabilities of Aruba, all on a recurring revenue model. It offers a pay-as-you-go monthly subscription plan.

Sung said the demand for the integration came straight from partners.

’They told us, ’We need you to integrate,’’ he said. ’We were like, ’There is no reason why we can’t.’’
