Who Does The Channel Want For President?

Solution providers will head to the polls alongside millions of other Americans next month to vote their choice for the next president of the United States. So, what qualities in a candidate really matter to solution providers?

’As far as what I’m looking for, the standard stuff, integrity, I really am not a big fan of career politicians in general,’ said Nathan Rizzo of Rx Technology, of San Antonio, Texas, who told CRNtv he supports Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson.

’Campaign finance is probably the biggest issue for me,’ he added.

Jeff Spalla, of Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.-based Reeldata, was still undecided when CRNtv talked with him. ’I want somebody that’s strong business-wise, knows the world market, has a good, strong understanding of the international play, but also has to have a bit of an even hand,’he said.

Spalla added that experience was important to him, and that he has been taken by surprise by peers who said they would vote Republican.

’It was a bit of a surprise, I haven’t heard anyone just stamp on that,’ he said.

’We need somebody that understand business,’ said Wayne Abbott, of Cpak Technology Solutions, in LaGrange, Calif.

Abbott added, ’I want to see somebody that can build relationships with minorities and other people, rather than tearing [them] down and trying to divide things.’
