Waves of change have come for Lenovo as Emilio Ghilardi steps down as president of Lenovo's North America business after less than 18 months on the job, and less than two months after the company rolled out its new ThinkSystems data center portfolio.

Lenovo said that Ghilardi's interim replacement is Christian Teismann, currently senior vice president and general manager of Lenovo's worldwide enterprise business segment.

AppDynamics, the application performance specialist Cisco acquired for $3.7 billion this year, has launched a new Titan Partner Program looking to boost application skill sets and revenue inside the Cisco channel community.

The Titan Partner Program includes a rebate program to enable additional investments into building a long-term AppDynamics practice. Titan also offers guaranteed margins by paying partners a percentage of the total contract value.

Partners enrolled in the program receive dedicated sales engineering and field channel manager support. Titan also includes sales and presales support to assist with proof of concepts and joint planning.

Kaspersky Lab has named Jason Stein as its new head of North American channels, as the company looks to refresh the way it works with partners in a competitive market for endpoint security.

Stein now serves as vice president of channel at Kaspersky Lab North America. He started with the company in July.

Stein replaces former North American Channel Chief Leslie Bois, who left the company in December to take a channel chief role at Veracode (acquired by CA Technologies).
