NSA Computer Exchange Corp. Exec: Ransomware Protection Drives Recurring Revenue Sales

The recent concern over ransomware is driving disaster recovery sales for solutions provider NSA Computer Exchange Corp., based in Hicksville, N.Y.

CRNtv spoke with Brian Weaver, VP of Sales at NSA Computer Exchange Corp, about the company's recurring revenue opportunities. Weaver explained that ransomware is driving a lot of concern in the market around business continuity. That's providing a sales boost to NSA’s Business Continuity Disaster Recovery Solution, through Datto.

"Sales are doing really well right now, especially recurring revenue. At this point, we’re expecting a 30 percent increase year over year," said Weaver. "We’re adding a lot of services built around our ERP Installations, so we’re really helping to make sure that systems stay up for folks. This is really what the recurring revenue solutions are all about."

Weaver noted that his company's looking forward to the rollout of VMWare Cloud on AWS. He said it is going to be a "very important part of the future" for business at NSA Computer Exchange Corp. "We absolutely plan to sell it. We actually have a number of representatives at an AWS event right now in New York City," said Weaver.
