While a year or two ago cloud computing was viewed as an amorphous term, Computer Services Inc. (CSI) says today customers are finally "getting it" and demanding different types of cloud services to enhance their IT infrastructure.

In an interview with CRN, Dan Holt, senior vice president and general manager of managed services at CSI, said cloud has really caught on outside the IT industry. Specifically, financial services customers -- where CSI is particularly strong -- are now discussing cloud less as a concept and more as targeted solutions to increase efficiency for key business operations.

Holt also discussed the changes at the company since CSI acquired his managed services business, Heit, nearly one year ago. He said combining Heit's MSP operations with CSI has given the company the necessary scale to tackle more complex cloud solutions.

For more on CSI's cloud outlook, see the full interview with Holt below.
