Cloud services provider independenceIT on Monday launched a partner program to let MSPs, VARs and ISVs resell its updated product portfolio to business clients.

The program allows partners to use its VCD dashboard to manage and provision independenceIT's offerings, including Exchange, SharePoint, VPS (Virtual Presence Server) and its cloud management platform, Cloud Workspace.

The VCD dashboard, which gives a unified view for partners to quote, provision and manage cloud computing services for clients, was added to independenceIT's portfolio following its purchase of Veddio Cloud Solutions in June.

The partner program will be organized in three tiers -- Basic, Preferred and Elite -- and will include professional services automation, the company’s Freedom Cloud Control Panel to deploy and manage Cloud Workspace customers, Exchange and SharePoint domains, access to the VCD dashboard, and online resources and webinars.

The Preferred and Elite programs will also offer sales and technology training, and partner branding.

The new program will give partners the ability to purchase, deploy and manage services for their clients, said Seth Bostock, independenceIT's executive vice president for strategy and business development.

He said the purchase of Veddio has been a key component in enhancing the company's cloud services for partners.

"With the purchase of Veddio, we have integrated their dashboard technology with our automation tools to create a unified platform for cloud customers to order, provision and manage their cloud services," Bostock said. "Channel partners can help transition customers and existing cloud services within this platform."

P.J. Piojda, general manager of Computer Sights, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., managed services provider, said his company has been using the IndependenceIT's cloud services in beta and finds the dashboard particularly helpful in provisioning cloud services.

"We're able to manage our clients directly through the dashboard, and it gives us the ability to create quotes, generate invoicing, and see all our clients," Piojda said. "It allows clients to have a one-stop shop for VoIP, VPS and other services."

IndependenceIT does not release financial figures.
