Google has launched a dashboard to help businesses find partners to deliver Google Apps.

The feature, called Google Enterprise Partner Search, lets businesses click into a portal that offers recommendations of Google Apps partners, a map showing the location of partners, and more detailed information about what individual partners offer.

"With over 6,000 Google Apps Resellers around the world, Enterprise Partner Search lets you preview the capabilities of a partner and find one that offers the services you’re looking for – from setup and user training, to email migration, management services, and support," Google said in its announcement.

The service also allows partners to customize the information displayed about their business.

"Whether you’re evaluating Google Apps, ready to make the move, or already a current user, we’re making it simpler for you to find the local, specialized, and trusted help you may need with the new Google Enterprise Partner Search," Amit Singh, Vice President, Google Enterprise, wrote on a Google Enterprise blog. "Search, click, and make the call to see how Google Apps Resellers can make your experience with Google Apps even better."

The service, rolled out Monday afternoon, has already resulted in one customer inquiry for Google partner Cloud Sherpas, said Michael Cohn, senior vice president of Cloud Sherpas.

"It's great that customers have a resource they can go to look for qualified partners," said Cohn. "Anything Google is doing to help partner connections is ultimately going to help adoption of their platform."
