Cloud Services Provider Tier 3 Names New CEO

Cloud services provider Tier 3 named veteran technology executive Matthew Schiltz as its president and CEO.

Schiltz most recently was CEO of Symform, a Seattle-based cloud storage provider. He also was at the helm of startups DocuSign and CourtLink.

Schiltz will take over as CEO from Jared Wray, Tier 3's founder and CTO, who had been acting as CEO since the October 2012 departure of Adam Wray (no relation).

Jared Wray will remain CTO and a member of Tier 3's board of directors.

"Matt was our top CEO target. He brings the key strategic and operational leadership needed to guide Tier 3 as we deliver the most complete enterprise cloud management platform available," said Jared Wray in a statement. "I'm eager to work closely with Matt and the entire Tier 3 leadership team as we embark on this next chapter of Tier 3."
