Channel Chiefs Debate Public Cloud Growth, Disruption (Video)

CRN's recent Channel Chief Roundtable at the XChange Solution Provider 2013 conference discussed the rise of public cloud services and how branded offerings from big companies such as Google and Amazon are disrupting the channel. The panel, which included executives from HP, VMware, Verizon and Cisco, talked about the need for hybrid cloud services and enhanced security. In addition, executives weighed in on how solution providers can add their private cloud services in the enterprise, as well as the risks of public cloud outages and security vulnerabilities.
