Review: Samsung 840 Pro Series SSD (Video)

The CRN Test Center takes Samsung's latest solid-state drive for a spin and finds the new Samsung 840 Pro Series SSD to be a major upgrade over its predecessor, the 830 Pro Series. The 840 Pro Series showed a maximum transfer rate of 398 MBps, which is more than double what the 830 Pro Series offered. The new SSD has other features besides speed, including lower power consumption and improved data migration.
