Atrion Networking, 2008 VARBusiness 500 No. 470, has launched its Reseller Alliance (RA) Program that helps other solution providers get a piece of the managed services market.
Although Atrion itself is a solution provider, the RA Program will offer other VARs the ability to provide their customers the support needed to ensure an "always-on" network.
"Without any heavy investment, our Reseller Alliance Program allows integrators to optimize and protect their clients' critical assets while raising profits and creating strategic relationships within their client-base," said Paul Cronin, vice president of the integrator in a statement. "Atrion has over 13 years of managed service trust and experience. We are excited to share it with our fellow VARs and to foster a reliable, 24/7/365 partnership."
Atrion provides managed services to its VAR partners. The program builds a recurring revenue stream for resellers. Offering a flexible model, the RA Program can adjust to the size and needs of each VAR. It offers solution providers a simple, cost-effective way to provide customers managed services. Additionally, the RA Program does not interfere with manufacturer warranties or other service contracts.
According to Atrion, managed services has the potential to add more than $1 million in annual revenue to the bottom line in the first year. Forrester Research noted last November that, "a perfect storm is brewing" for managed services.
"The race is on," Cronin said. "If you are not selling managed services to your clients, then someone else will -- and you will lose a valuable profit and relationship opportunity."
