Panorama9 has released an updated MSP Partner Program and cloud-based IT management platform, the company announced Tuesday.

The company's MSP program was first rolled out in March. The latest update is designed to give partners greater control and make it even easier to integrate and use.

More specifically, the update lets users assign responsibilities, add client notes and select user access to clients, and it offers updated notification templates, advanced Zendesk integration and a seamless integration with other help desk systems. The update also includes visual improvements, which further improves ease of use.

Panorama9 CEO Allan Thorvaldsen said the latest update was derived from extensive MSP feedback on the previous model. More than 150 MSPs already use the program.

"We would like the MSPs to prioritize our road map for us," Thorvaldsen said. "At the end of the day, it's our clients that are driving the product line, because what is the point of creating something if you don’t know if they will like it or not?"

Thorvaldsen said that part of the appeal of Panorama9's system is that it can integrate with whichever partners and programs MSPs are already using.

"Realizing that, of course, we can't conquer it all, we can't do it all, it makes a lot of sense to integrate with different partners," Thorvaldsen said. "Why not just help them monitor those cloud-based data solutions instead of forcing them [to choose one we like]?"

MSP discounts are available, ranging from 5 to 50 percent off marked prices, depending on the size of the MSP, which Thorvaldsen said makes it easy for MSPs to bundle the product as part of a service to clients.

The updated program is available for a 30-day free trial on Panorama9's website and after that on a by-device, per-month payment plan.

Thorvaldsen said Panorama9 will continue to develop the platform based on MSP recommendations going forward. Next up, it plans to add colors and logos to make the program more personalized.
