There's good news for solution providers looking to improve on recurring revenue: When asked by CRNtv, partners said customers' biggest demands revolve around a variety of services.
F1 Solutions' James VanderWier named security as the top cash cow for his business right now.
"It's been real good for us. We recognized it several years ago with the HIPAA and high-tech community first," he said.
"What we're finding that's really driving [business] right now is really more of the consultative approach," said eDot Holdings' Brent Allen. "Kind of educating our clients on what technology's out there, how it’s changed, how it applies to them -- that kind of thing."
Steven Freidkin from Ntiva agreed that there isn't one specific solution that's topping all the others, but managed and professional services offerings, as a whole, are big business.
"We're using consistent Software-as-a-Service applications, such as Office 365, to yield the best results," he added.
Richard Fly from iT1 Source named another brand as his top services solution: EMC storage.
"That's bearing the most fruit right now for us," he said.
