In the short and slick teaser video, the Samsung Galaxy Tab can be seen in action, screen aglow with apps, the mobile Web, an on-screen keyboard, maps and navigation, e-mail and what appears to be the home screen. Meanwhile, some of the small tablet's many attributes float in the background: HD movie play, e-reading, navigation, Flash support, augmented reality, video call, PC like web and more.

The 7-inch screen appears nestled comfortably in one hand, though it appears too large for pocket storage.

The 20-second spot also indicates that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be officially unveiled Sept. 22 in Berlin, Germany.

The sneak preview also highlights the Galaxy Tab's use of Google Android 2.2, or Froyo, the latest version of Google's widely popular Android mobile operating system. It indicates that the device will leverage Swype software for text input and that it will feature two cameras, though the video didn't hint at what resolution.

Currently, the Samsung Mobile web site devoted to the Galaxy Tab features only the video. No pricing information or availability dates are offered.

Samsung's big reveal comes as a Chinese Website posted a host of photos showing the Samsung Galaxy Tab in use and following months of rumors that Samsung was plotting to release a touch-screen tablet similar to its Samsung Galaxy S smartphones to rival the dominating Apple iPad.
