11 New Faces At Apple
new hires and recently launching a new Mobility Technical Competency
1. FRANCOIS DAUMARD, 12-year Microsoft channel veteran and a well-known figure to solution providers, joined Apple in May as manager of iPhone and iPad channel development.
2. STEVE LIEBERMAN, manager of Apple’s U.S. corporate reseller channel, joined in September after a 15-year career at Hewlett-Packard.
3. DARCI REIMUND, former head of North American channels for Google Enterprise, joined in June as manager of business applications on the App Store and Mac App Store. Prior to joining Google, Reimund spent two years at VMware.
4. VICTORIA SANCHEZ, U.S. channel marketing manager for the SMB/Commercial space, joined in July after four years at Cisco, holding the role of SMB marketing manager. Sanchez also previously spent three years as a partner marketing manager at Adobe.
5. RICHARD BEEMAN, an Austin, Texas, corporate channel sales manager at Apple, came on board in April after 10 years at VMware in a variety of channel-focused roles.
6. JULIO LERMA, a Miami-based channel sales manager, joined Apple in January after nearly 18 years at Tech Data, where he was director of marketing for the distributor’s Latin America business.
7. BRIGID HARRINGTON SHAHEEN joined Apple in July after spending a year at Paypal in the role of senior manager of partner marketing. She previously spent 12 years at Adobe, including eight as group manager of North America channel marketing. At Apple, Shaheen holds an unspecified commercial and channel marketing role, according to her LinkedIn profile.
8. ALVIN MYERS, an Atlanta-based enterprise account manager at Apple, joined the company in January after spending the previous four-plus years in the same role at HP. According to his LinkedIn profile, while at HP Myers “actively recruited and developed value-added partners” for HP’s Solution Partners Organization.
9. CRAIG ELANDER, a New York-based channel account manager, joined in June after a one-and-a-half-year stint at Wipro Technologies, where he was a strategic relationship manager. Elander previously spent 14 years at Avaya and Lucent.
10. TODD VATALARO, senior account manager at Apple, joined the company in November 2010 after holding channel positions at Oracle and MicroStrategy.
11. WILSON LOK, field services channel manager, came on board in June 2010 after four years at Cisco, where he was channel sales operations program manager.
