The risks associated with mobile devices are a major concern for private businesses, but they're presenting an even greater challenge for government agencies.

That's according to Jeff Sessions, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Red River, who said in an interview with CRN TV that mobile devices are causing headaches for the federal government.

"The device issue is probably their biggest concern," Sessions said. "Bring your own device is a big deal. They're struggling with that."

Sessions said that while security is the paramount issue, the biggest obstacle is managing the devices and allowing workers to access data and applications. "The government's just not used to giving people access," he said.
