Sandy Waller, an 18-year Hewlett-Packard veteran, has been named director of the computer giant's Printing and Personal Systems (PPS) organization's U.S. SMB sales effort.
Waller, who was most recently district sales manager for the U.S. central enterprise team, will report to HP Vice President and General Manager U.S. Enterprise and SMB Sales Newt Walpert.
"Sandy has worked with my teams for years and clearly values the channel and what companies like CDW can bring to the table to provide a complete solution to our customers," said Mike Rapplean, director of corporate sales for CDW, one of HP's largest partners, in an email exchange. "Sandy’s proven experience in delivering on her commitments and holding her teams accountable to partnerships instills the trust in her partners like CDW, which results in increased engagement and business throughout her teams."
Specifically, Rapplean said Waller "prioritizes her partners like CDW by consistently engaging on combined go-to-market strategies and making regular on-site visits with her team to execute on those strategies. Her consistent approach and transparent communication is key to building long-standing partner relationships like she has done with our CDW teams."
Waller replaces Mike Parrottino, who was previously vice president and general manager of Americas Channel Marketing/SMB. Parrottino was recently named to a new post -- vice president of enterprise group channels volume sales.
