2015 And The Rise Of The Affordable Drone

/**/ /**/

Drones have officially permeated the electronics marketplace. Once thought of as military hardware, users can now get their hands on drones for less money than many consumer camcorders. Here are two models of popular, reasonably priced drones that were on display at CES 2015:

Parrot Bebop: $499.99

Parrot showcased its Bebop drone by setting up a cage full of music-synchronized dancing drones to the delight of CES show-floor strollers. The lightweight ABS-reinforced drone features a navigation computer, equipped with a P7 dual-core CPU, quad-core CPU and 8 GB of Flash memory. Parrot Bebop drones also generate their own Wi-Fi 802.11 networks, and easily assemble and disassemble.

AEE Toruk AP10: $699.00

AEE had a drone cage of its own at CES flying around its Quadcopter. This drone is the pick for anyone looking to ulitize drones for aerial video, as it can be bought with an integrated 16MP FPV Camera from AEE. Drone operators can control the aircraft through a handheld radio controller, or through an Android or iOS mobile Wi-Fi-connected device. The Toruk also provides a GPS mode, which will ensure autopilot redundancy. AEE also debuted its new AP100, whose price has not yet been set.
