Demo: 2nd Gen Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga

/**/ /**/Lenovo is taking the modern workday into account with the ThinkPad Yoga, part of its sleek 2-in-1 line of Ultrabooks. At The Channel Company’s XChange 2015 conference, Lenovo’s Stephen Miller gave CRNtv a walk-through of its latest version, the 12.5-inch ThinkPad Yoga 12.

’We understand that they way people use computers is changing. We all still want a full-size keyboard, we want a full-size screen, but how we use the device is changing,’ Miller said.

According to Miller, Lenovo recognized that with Ultrabooks running some touch-operating systems like the new Windows 10 users want the ability to quickly convert from a tablet to a laptop, while remaining on one device.

Both versions of the Yoga supply up to 8 hours of battery life, and feature HD displays with 10-point multitouch IPS technology. The 12.5-inch device weighs 3.48 pounds, and features a fifth-generation Intel Core i7 processor. The second-generation ThinkPad Yoga starts at $989.
