Smart solutions took center stage at "CES Unveiled" on Monday, with gadgets ranging from a sensor-embedded tennis racket to an intelligent washer/dryer.

Paris-based Smart Me Up showcased facial recognition software that pinpointed a person’s age, gender and emotion. CRNtv tested the technology and found it both accurate and flattering.

Zepp Labs, Los Gatos, Calif., showed off its smart sports solutions, which included a tennis racket loaded with sensors. With the technology, doubles partners can analyze one another’s stroke and reaction times.
