Network managment Netmon Tuesday entered into a distribution partnership with Ingram Micro, which will provide the vendor broader reseller access.
The arrangement allows Ingram Micro VARs to offer the vendor's appliance-based network management solutions.
"We have been 100 percent channel friendly since inception," said Eric Lamoureux, Netmon president. He noted that going through a large distributor such as Ingram Micro will potentially get Netmon's line in front of thousands of customers.
The Netmon product line is aimed at the midmarket, and sold by resellers into the midsize, government and education markets. Lamoureux said the company hopes to introduce in the near future products that address the needs of small business.
"The network management marketplace is on the upside, especially with customers now monitoring for many more reasons, whether for security or privacy reasons," said Lamoureux.
