HTC Leak Reveals Plans For Upcoming Android, Windows Mobile Phones

The HTC phone leak appears to be a scanned image of specs and designs for eight Android and Windows Mobile smartphones. Specifically, there are five Android-based handsets scheduled to be released over the next year, and three others based on the Windows Mobile OS, according to the plans.

According to the leaked blueprints, the Android phones include the prospective Legend, Salsa, Bravo, Buzz and Tide, while Windows Mobile OS comes with titles such as Photon, Tera and Trophy.

The Android-based Salsa, set for release in June, comes with a 2.6-inch touch screen, a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-megapixel camera and FM radio.

Other Android phones are geared for performance, such as the Bravo, which comes with a 3.7-inch touch screen, 5-megapixel HD autofocus camera with flash, 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of internal flash memory, as well as joystick control and access to Google mobile apps.

Meanwhile, the Tide, scheduled for an April launch, comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, along with a standard numeric keyboard, a 2.68-inch touch screen and a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera. Both phones come with quick links to Flickr, Twitter and Facebook apps.

HTC's three Windows Mobile OS-based handsets include the Tera, which comes with a 3-inch slide/tilt touch-screen display, QWERTY keyboard, 3.2-megapixel camera and motion-G sensor.
