Integra Taps Former Level 3 Alum To Lead Product Development

Harding, who has been named Integra’s senior vice president of product development, is an 18-year telecom veteran who spent 13 years at Level 3 Communications, most recently in the role of vice president of product development. At Integra, Harding will head up product management, development, and marketing, with an eye toward continued expansion of its enterprise-grade service offerings.

It’s been quite a busy fall for the Ore.-based CLEC. Integra has been aggressively expanding its high bandwidth and cloud-based portfolio to target larger enterprise clients, investing millions in its metro fiber and copper Ethernet network, and teaming up with Palo Alto networks to add a suite of cloud-based security services.

Harding’s is the latest in a series of recent executive change-ups at Integra. In September, Ken Worcester was promoted to lead and unify a beefed-up channel program at Integra. And earlier this month, Kevin O’Hara, who is also a former Level 3 alum, was named executive chairman following the departure of CEO Tom Casey.

“Integra is fortunate to have secured such a talented and proven leader,” O’Hara said in a statement. “Joe’s deep telecom experience and track record of developing and launching new product initiatives for the enterprise market will be a tremendous asset to our organization. Integra customers and employees will benefit from his leadership, as he is laser-focused on understanding customer needs and developing high quality solutions to meet their needs.”
