Another channel executive has headed for the door at Juniper Networks, CRN has learned.

Steve Pataky, former vice president of worldwide partner development at Juniper, has jumped ship to network security vendor FireEye, where he is now vice president of worldwide channels and alliances, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Juniper confirmed Pataky's departure to CRN on Tuesday, but declined to comment further.

Pataky's exit is the latest in a series of executive shake-ups seen at Juniper over the past year. Last month, Juniper announced the unexpected departure of CEO Kevin Johnson, who the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company said was retiring after five years in the role.

Johnson's departure came on the heels of several other high-level executive departures at Juniper, including that of Chief Marketing Officer Lauren Flaherty, who left to pursue a senior vice president and CMO role at CA Technologies.

In March, channel veteran and Juniper's senior vice president of Americas partners Frank Vitagliano left the company to head up channel sales at Dell.

Pataky, who joined Juniper in 2004, helped stage the launch of Juniper's re-architected Partner Advantage program last year, which was designed to offer partners more training and marketing resources, along with a revamped Incentive Rebate Program and Opportunity Registration program.

Pataky was also responsible for the day-to-day operation of Juniper's partner program and also oversaw much of the company's partner recruitment, on-boarding, enablement, rewards and investment processes.

Prior to Juniper, Pataky was vice president of channel sales and development at Vertical Networks and, before that, senior director of global partner development at 3Com.
