Riding a wave of the moment from their recent global conference, Juniper Networks says they are recommitting themselves to their partner strategy.
"Our elite partners are really important to us," said Vice President of Americas Partner Sales Jon Belcher. He said the elite partners are key to partner planning, following several executive departures in the past year.
"We've worked closely with these folks with a lot of years," Belcher said of elite partners. "We have newer partners in this category that have begun to work with us, and our success will be measured very distinctly on, 'How do we drive new growth with those partners?'"
Belcher distinguished further the two types of partners Juniper Networks hopes to see growth with at the elite level, the first being partners with "strong relationships and technical skills."
"Ultimately, it’s how we build our customer base with them," he said.
The other category, distribution partners, will receive focused "programs and mechanics" to "drive the volume through our retail and select partners as well," according to Belcher.
