SimpliVity CEO: 'We're At The Eve Of A Revolution'

SimpliVity is celebrating "tremendous" growth through the first two quarters of the fiscal year,thanks to its partnership with Cisco Systems in the hyper-converged infrastructure space.

"Cisco is a global leader in IT. We're proud and honored to partner with them, and we're seeing an inflection in business with them that started in Q1 in 2015. It's now increasing in Q2. We actually sold four times more systems in Q2 than we did in Q1," said SimpliVity CEODoron Kempel.

The partnership leverages Cisco UCS with SimpliVity's OmniStack Integrated solution. Kempel said the duo struck the market at the right time.

"The market understands that we are at a transformation point," Kempel said.

"We're at the eve of a revolution," he added.

SimpliVity's OmniStack Integrated Solution with Cisco UCS "assimilates eight to 12 core data center functions on Cisco UCS C240 rack-mount servers, including hypervisor, compute, storage, network switching, backup, replication, cloud gateway, caching, WAN optimization, real-time deduplication and more," according to SimpliVity.
