CRN Newsroom Update: Changes Could Be On The Horizon For Net Neutrality

Changes could be on the way for Net Neutrality as the first public comment period for the Federal Communications Commissions' motion to overturn the regulations drew to a close this week.

A spokesperson for the White House said Tuesday that the Trump administration supports the FCC's decision to roll back Net Neutrality.

The FCC, headed up by Chairman Ajit Pai, has been vocal about its plans to overturn Net Neutrality rulings, which were established in 2015. Specifically, the FCC wants to eliminate Net Neutrality’s Title II rule, which reclassified internet service providers as common carriers.
