Rainbow Introduces VPN Appliances Supporting Security Hardware On The Client

The iGate appliances support client-based security hardware, the Rainbow iKey USB authentication token.

The appliances include new VPX technology designed to allow companies to access, manage and secure both web and client-server applications through a single SSL VPN appliance. The appliances also support remote management and scalable configuration, allowing customers to purchase additional capacity and iKey tokens as needs change.

The iGate Pro includes 70 concurrent user licenses and 70 iKeys, and can scale to support a maximum of 1,000 concurrent users. The iGate Team is Rainbow's entry-level SSL VPN and includes 40 concurrent licenses and iKeys, scalable up to 100 concurrent users. The appliances are available now.
