Trend Micro Tops Channel Contenders In Security Software
August 07, 2009 6:58 PM ET
Due to an internal data transfer error, Trend Micro was inadvertently dropped from the list of 2009 Channel Contenders in the Security Software category in both CRN magazine and in slide shows on Channelweb.com.
In fact, the Cupertino, Calif.-based company was selected as the top contender in security software by solution providers in Everything Channel's 2009 Channel Contenders survey. The corrected results are reflected in Channelweb.com's The Top 30 Channel Contenders of 2009 slide show and the 2009 Channel Contenders: Security Software slide show.
Everything Channel's 2009 Channel Contenders survey asked solution providers to choose the vendors they lead with in 14 product categories and also which vendors they consider the leading alternatives in the categories. The alternative vendors that receive the most votes from solution provider respondents are then named Channel Contenders.
CRN and Channelweb.com regret the error.
Everything Channel is the parent company of both CRN magazine and Channelweb.com.
