McAfee has confirmed the departure of Joe Sexton, formerly the head of global sales.
Sexton, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, is being replaced by incoming executive vice president of global sales, Steve Redman, who previously served as regional president for the Asia Pacific Region. Redman will relocate to the McAfee headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif., from his current location in Sydney, Australia.
Since joining the company four years ago, Redman has guided the APAC region to four consecutive years of double-digit growth, and in some cases set new company records for quarterly growth. Redman's previous experience includes eight years at EMC, culminating in a role as vice president of Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for field operations in that region. Previously he served as general manager of Rockwell Electronic Commerce and held positions at Lucent Technologies and Fuji Xerox.

"Steve is an accomplished leader who is dedicated to our cause of keeping customers safe," said McAfee Co-President Michael DeCesare in a prepared statement. "He has been instrumental in driving a strong people-based culture in APAC which has been recognized internally and externally as one of the best in the industry and beyond."
McAfee has also announced the hiring of Penny Baldwin, who now joins the company as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Baldwin most recently served as acting CMO and senior vice president, Global Brand Strategy and Marketing, at Yahoo. Prior experience includes chief executive roles at Young & Rubicam Advertising and Wunderman Direct Marketing.
Her accomplishments include successful branding and marketing campaigns on behalf of a wide range of companies, including NetApp, Hitachi Data Systems, AT&T and Citrix.
Both individuals will report to Michael DeCesare.
