Starting as a $3-million company, Thompson expects Virtual Instruments to be worth $100 million by the end of 2013. At the core of Virtual Instruments is its infrastructure performance management technology, a solution designed to help customers transition from physical environments to virtual and cloud-based environments. The key to this technology comes on the monitoring side, where the utilization, health and optimal performance of the applications housed within the infrastructure is ensured.
