CRNtv sat down with Eran Heyman, founder and chief architect at Ericom Software Inc., to discuss the impact of browser isolation on the security landscape and channel partners. Ericom Shield is Ericom's browser isolation solution, and according to Heyman, it provides a "blue ocean" of opportunity in the channel.

"Our strategy is to go as big as possible through the channel, in North America and globally to provide support for our partners," said Heyman. Browser isolation is a cybersecurity offering that helps companies isolate their corporate networks and endpoint devices from the public internet.

The company provides support all the way from initial training to joint participation and events. Based on the scope of a few recent cyberattacks, Heyman says that browser isolation, now more than ever, is becoming more mainstream.

"Even just a year ago, people barely understood why it was in existence, but now, people almost instantly know what it means which is really great for the channel," he said.

Heyman explained that now, there is an opportunity for channel partners to approach their clients with something that customers almost instantly understand. He said they will know why they need it in their businesses, and how it is going to provide them with unparalleled protection.
