MOCA, Arrow ESS Expand CA Distribution Agreement

The distributors, both divisions of Englewood, Colo.-based Arrow Electronics' North American Computer Products Group, previously carried BrightStor ARCserve Backup solutions. The new agreement expands to include BrightStor Enterprise Backup, BrightStor Storage Resource Manager and BrightStor Portal, the companies said.

"CA offers high-powered storage business solutions that will be attractive to enterprise resellers," said Mike Arends, vice president of sales at Arrow ESS, in a statement.

Arrow Electronics has Islandia-based CA's BrightStor solutions running in its Universal Enterprise Storage Labs, where solution providers can test and configure storage solutions on behalf of their customers.

The new agreement is evidence of CA's commitment to the channel, said George Kafkarkou, senior vice president of worldwide channel operations at CA.

"We believe that Arrow has done and will continue to do a superlative job of adding significant value to CA's growing number of BrightStor enterprise solution partners," Kafkarkou said in a statement.
