Product commentary: NetIQ's WebTrends Reporting Center software capitalizes on the desire to dissect online activity and use it to business advantage. Savvy VARs deploy WebTrends Reporting Center to help customers strategically exploit the Web. The product is flexible, able to track simple Web-traffic numbers and also robust enough to fuel high-end solutions.

Platforms available: Windows NT 4.0 (SP3 and above), 2000, XP or 2003; Red Hat Linux 6.2, 7.0-7.3, 8 or 9 system; Solaris 7, 8 or 9 system; the product analyzes logs from Web servers running on any platform, however.

Channels available: VARs that are part of the NetIQ Authorized Reseller Program and agree to meet certain annual sales and activity targets can purchase directly from NetIQ.
