Rumors that Apple is making a miniature iPhone loosely based around its widely popular iPod Nano have sparked another iPhone accessory maker to add an iPhone Nano case to its product roster.

Well-known iPhone case maker Vaja has added an iPhone Nano listing to its Web site. While the site offers no photos or prices, or even measurements, clicking on the iPhone Nano link redirects users to a page that reads "Sign up for the upcoming release of our iPhone nano cases."

Little else is known about Vaja's offering, but listing an iPhone Nano case is sure to perpetuate the rumors that Steve Jobs and company are readying a tiny iPhone for the very near future, possibly as soon as the upcoming Macworld conference.

Last week, talk of an iPhone Nano was kicked into high gear as rumors that China-based iPod and iPhone protective case maker XSKN is working on a case for an iPhone Nano. Later, XSKN added an iPhone Nano product category to its lineup.

XSKN has become known for predicting Apple's course and has been credited with predicting the launches of both the iPhone 3G and the fourth-generation iPod Touch. In both cases, XSKN sold cases for the devices weeks before they hit stores.

Last August, photos of a purported iPhone Nano surfaced, promising a 2.75-inch screen, no Internet and a "way cheaper" price than the standard iPhone 3G models that command $199 or $299 for the 8GB and 16GB models, respectively.
