Macworld 2009: 15 Bizarre Scenes

Welcome To Macworld
Welcome To Macworld

"Evolutionary not revolutionary" the bloggers say. This year's Jobs-less 2009 Macworld Conference and Expo offered a few surprises all right. First Apple pulled out of the show in December. The company's CEO, Steve Jobs, failed to give the event's keynote speech, and instead passed that torch to Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing. No breakthrough technologies or products (not even for the iPod) where announced. And where were all the Mac computers?

Attendees could do just about everything else, however, from playing Peruvian pipes music on their iPhone to starting in on their tax returns. But yes, there were software apps for the Mac and more than enough iPhone and iPod paraphernalia to go around. iPhone cozy anyone? Here are a few crazy scenes from the show floor.
