Working with content on notebooks and PCs has never been easier, thanks to Media Creator. For instance, version 7.5 enables Disc Image Loader to mount disc image files into drive letters. This feature enables playback of DVD video files without the need to run files from hard drives. Disc Image Loader conserves battery power on notebooks because it does not use hard drives. This feature is also ideal for multidisc games because users do not have to switch between discs while playing. Disc Image Loader supports iso, c2d, cif and bin/cue formats.

The tool&'s Disc Copier can compress files to fit DVDs and even record to dual-layer DVDs. Media Creator arrives with CinePlayer 2 to play DVDs. During testing, CinePlayer 2 produced highly stable images on two white-box notebooks. CinePlayer offers MPEG decoding, including fine-tuning control.

Media Creator&'s Sound Editor also has been enhanced and now provides more manual controls for audio files, including LP. And Media Creator includes an audio capture utility that can record and save Internet radio broadcasts and other audio files on a hard drive.

Media Creator bundles an easy-to-use tool that helps users create personalized labels for jewel cases and inserts. Version 7.5 also supports LightScribe labeling technology, which can burn laser-etched labels directly into discs, creating professional-looking CDs and DVDs. This feature works in LightScribe-enabled drives. After recording media on a disc, users can simply flip over the disc and burn silkscreen labels of high- resolution still images into the surface.
