Eurocom's All-In-One Desktop Looks Great, Saves Space And Conserves Power

Eurocom recently announced a beautiful all-in-one PC that looks futuristic enough to be used as a prop in a science fiction movie, yet practical enough for everyday use. The Eurocom L570W combines a 64-bit mobile Athlon 64 processor, a 17-inch widescreen flat panel display and built-in speakers in a single unit with a very small footprint. A touch screen is available as an option.

If power savings are more important than processing speed, the unit can be had with a 25-watt AMD Sempron processor, as opposed to the Athlon processors which consume 62 watts.

This all-in-one system can save big companies lots of money in electricity costs. The L570W consumes approximately 160 watts, compared to the 500 to 600 watts consumed by traditional desktop PCs. The result is a savings of about $100 per year per user, so a company with one thousand PCs in service could save $100,000 dollars per year in energy expenses if every employee used an L570W.

The all-in-one L570W is ideal for corporate use, in schools, for home use and for entertainment purposes. It's also useful for crowded environments such as stock trading floors.
