Secure Computing's Sidewinder G2 furnishes firewall security at gigabit speeds with integrated high availability. The device accommodates all types of virtual environments by integrating a multitude of security functions into one system. That greatly eases the burden of setup and management for solution providers.

The device includes a firewall with application-level intrusion prevention and protocol anomaly protection, along with secure e-mail and web access. It also houses a DNS gateway, anti-spam, anti-virus, IPSec VPN, IDS and response, outbound web access filtering, SSL termination and clientless VPN access. A SoftRemote utility enables remote access and management.

The Sidewinder G2 Security Appliance gives system administrators a lot of tools to help build security policies. It furnishes firewall security at gigabit speeds with integrated high availability. It's basically a mix-and-match unit, and solution providers can add whatever functionality is necessary for a particular customer.

Chosen features come preinstalled and pretuned to make setup easy. The appliance drops seamlessly into any IP network, and is also available as a software-only package that can be loaded onto a server.
